What to visit in Seoul and Korea ? (1) Banpo Bridge

Banpo Bridge fountains
I will post a serie of articles on what to do / what to see in Seoul and in Korea. For the 1st article I will write about something that I consider worth to see in Seoul, but still quite unknown : The banpo Bridge (반포대교).

Indeed usually tourists don't know much about it, and don't go to see it. Even many of my Korean friends haven't seen it yet! You would miss something if you leave Korea before getting there.

Why is Banpo Bridge special?

Basically this is just a bridge crossing the Han river. However when the sun goes down the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain is triggered. It is the World's largest bridge fountain.
All along both sides of the bridge 10 000 LED lights are combined with moving fountains to create a unique scenery. In summer music is also broadcasted along with the fountains.
I strongly advise you to go there in summer, it is along the Han river, it's relaxing, Many couples go there.
